WW2 German Army Officer Visor Cap - Field Grey - Light Green Piping
This high-quality Field Grey Wool Heer Jager Schirmmutzen (Visor Cap) comes with light green piping, dark green velvet band and gloss black peak, complete with silver bullion cap cord, silver eagle and embroidered wreath and cockade insignia. Worn by officers within a variety of divisions as the Wehrmacht adapted its Waffenfarbe system to newly formed units, "Hellgrün" or light green was mostly worn by Alpine, Mountain and Jager/Gebirgsjager units.
This is an excellent reproduction, handmade from an original in a heavy wool material, with a leather sweatband, perfect for reenactment or collecting alike. See here for this and other caps without insignia.
