German Army Feldgendarmerie BEVO EM Cuff Title
Reproduction WW2 German Army Field Police (Feldgendarmerie) BEVO EM Cuff Title, on a brown background.
Before the outbreak of WW2 Germany had no full-time permanent MP units, instead assigning personnel from the civilian police force. Upon mobilisation these policemen became the first of the permanent Heer Feldgendarmie units. At first they wore their police uniforms with an additional green and yellow armband on the left sleeve. Later, the uniform became the standard issue army uniform with the addition of orange Waffenfarbe which included a sleeve eagle, collar tabs, shoulder boards and visor cap piping.
In addition brown cuff titles were introduced which read ‘Feldgendarmerie’ in grey gothic script. There were at least three variants produced with the most common being the BeVo variant.
