General Seyffardt Division, otherwise knows as the 23rd SS Volunteer Panzer Grenadier Division Nederland was a German Waffen-SS division made up of volunteers from the Netherlands.
In 1945, the 4th SS Volunteer Panzergrenadier Brigade Nederland was merged into the 11th SS Volunteer Panzergrenadier Division Nordland, but after protests from the Dutch National Socialist movement, the Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging (NSB), it was formed into its own SS Panzergrenadier Division,
The Division mostly saw action across the Eastern Front, in Leningrad and Yugoslavia before retreating back to Germany.
Made from black machine woven thread with white machine woven Latin text. On the reverse is the typical waffle pattern of all BeVo insignia with the manufactures name "BeVo Wuppertal" indicating its manufacturer as Bandfabrik Ewald Vorsteher in Wuppertal.
