High quality reproduction Fallschirmjager cuff title as worn by German Luftwaffe enlisted men during WW2.
The 1st Fallschirmjäger Regiment was formed in 1938. These elite paratroopers would perform daring airborne assaults in the Netherlands and Belgium. Later invading Crete in what was the largest paratrooper operation in history. Heavy casualties lead German commanders to not use paratroops in large numbers for the rest of the war. Instead acting as elite infantry units.
