The Bronze Panzer Badge recognizes the crews of armored vehicles other than tanks.
This Army Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze was awarded to servicemen of the German Army Panzer units for participation in three separate combat engagements. The bronze edition was introduced in late 1939 to be awarded to the crews of armoured assault vehicles other than tanks. Such as Panzergrenadier units equipped with armoured vehicles and also armoured reconnaissance groups and rifle battalions of Panzer divisions.
They feature the original style steel needle pin on the reverse.
Worn on the left tunic pocket.
These high quality, die-cast zinc badges have a bronze brennlack finish, providing a very authentic look.
The badge measures approximately 6 x 4 cm.
