Description
The iconic Brodie Helmet is a must for your WWII British Army Portrayal, as it saw service throughout the war. These helmets are original and have been refurbished to a fantastic quality. They come with a rubber liner and the correct bolt secures it in place. It also benefits from a non-magnetic rim, improved liner and removable chin strap (Not included.)
The Brodie helmet was designed and patented by Latvian Inventor John Leopold Brodie in London and was introduced in 1915. A modified form of it became the Mark 1 in Britain. In 1938 the Mark 2 design was introduced into the army – it benefitted from an improved liner and it was made of a nonmagnetic rim so the soldier could use a compass while wearing the helmet. The steel design remained unchanged non the less.

Please note that due to an error, despite these Brodie Helmets being originals, the supplier has unfortunately covered the rim when painting. It remains visible underneath however and can be rectified as part of a project.
