British WW2 Defence Medal
Established in 1945, the British WW2 Defence Medal was awarded to British Commonwealth citizens for non-operational military as well as some types of civilian war service during the Second World War.
The front of the medal shows King George VI facing left and the reverse depicts the Royal Crown between a lion and lioness. The ribbon is green with orange and black detail.
