Description
British WWII Brodie Helmet Reproduction, with a non magnetic and removable strap. This helmet comes in a variety of sizes to fit most heads , making for a comfortable fit for extended periods of use. It has a desert coloured exterior with a leather liner and a sprung webbing chin strap.
The Brodie helmet was adopted in September 1915 during the First World War - designed to protect the wearer from shrapnel. It was originally made from Hadfield Steel. Although the helmet did not provide as much protection as the German Stahlhelm - it was far cheaper and quicker to produce.
