Belt Loop (Webbing)
Reproduction Canvas Webbing Belt Loop with D-ring.
Designed and used for several different uses, from hanging additional kit to the belt such as egg grenades, lengthening the seated height of the equipment belt and helping protect the belt so y-strap hooks don't damage the belt by distributing weight on a wider loop.
Issued quite early into the war when cut-backs were issued for leather items, also used for the campaign across North Africa, Scicily, Italy.
Usually used in two's or threes if worn between Y-straps and equipment belt or singular for adding extra kit to belts.
Constructed in black leather with white stitching and a steel D-ring.
