Bavarian Order of Military Merit With Swords - 2nd Class.

The ‘Militär-Verdienstorden’ was Bavaria’s main decoration rewarding bravery and military merit, and was bestowed on officers and higher-ranking officials. The crossed swords mounted on the order indicated a wartime award.

This example of the 2nd Class is award is die struck and finished in enamel and gold plate, and is supplied complete with 12" of the correct ribbon.
