Army Visor Cap Wreath and Cockade
German Army Officer Bullion Oakleaf Wreath and Cockade on a Dark Green backing.
While Enlisted Men and Junior NCO's would wear the visor cap with a stamped, metal wreath and cockade, the Officers would show rank by wearing this, the hand embroidered wreath and cockade with silver bullion wire on a dark green wool base to match that of the visor cap.
It's the 2nd version as dictated in March 1935 which continued in this style until the end of the war.
Hand embroidered wreath and cockade from silver wire on green wool base.
