Reproduction World War Two German Afrika Korps 'Afrika' Enlisted mans cuff title.
Worn by members of the Deutsches Afrikakorps. The Afikakorps was the expeditionary force of Nazi Germany in North Africa. It was originally sent to help defend Italian colonial possessions, under the command of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel it almost drove British forces across the Suez Canal.
After defeat in the Second Battle of El Alamein and allied landings in Morocco and Algeria the force was significantly expanded. The DAK was eventually pushed back into Tunisia and in 1943 surrendered to the Allies.
