This is a 1:72 scale model set for the famous 'Higgins' LCVP (Landing craft, vehicle, personnel).
The 'Higgins Boat' has been fondly remembered as one of the most vital pieces of equipment employed by the allies during WWII. It saw service across multiple theatres but is most remembered for its role in the D-Day landings of Operation Overlord.
This kit comes with two recommended colour schemes, Royal Navy and US Navy Normandy 1944.Â
