Alongside epaulettes, soldiers of the rank Gefreiter would wear a rank chevron. This rank chevron is made to match the M40 tropical tunic worn by members of the Afikakorps, and later throughout southern Europe.
Made with tropical tresse on dark green backing.
The badge is approximately 7.5 cm tall and 8 cm wide.
