Quality enamel badge of the 2nd Infantry Division, the "Indian Head" or "Warrior" division.
The 2nd Infantry were first formed in 1917 and fought on the western front of WW1 from April 1918 until the armistice. During the Second World War the 2nd Infantry fought through Northern France, Germany and ended WW2 on the Czech border.
The 2nd saw extensive combat in the Korean War and elements of the division fought in the Iraq War. Today the majority of the division is stationed in South Korea.
Has two clutch pins on the back and can be attached to caps, shirts, jackets, coats, etc.
The pin badge is approximately 3 cm tall and 2 cm wide.
