WW2 US Airborne M1942 Trouser Leg ties - Type 2
Pair of leg ties for the M42 uniforms as worn by the 82nd Airborne during D-Day and beyond. These webbing straps are the same style used to modify the issued M42 uniforms and are a perfect upgrade to any 82nd impression or collection. Unlike the 101st, the 82nd used sturdy olive green materials to reinforce their issued M42 uniforms, especially the knees and pockets, with matching webbing as leg ties.
Each strap measures 52 inches and can replace the existing straps on our reinforced M42 Airborne trousers or if reinforcing a set of M42s yourself. This is done with a box x stitch on the inside of the upper thigh, as shown in the images. Made from the same material as our M42 uniforms, these are a simple and neat way to step up your impression kit.
