IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS
Update on U.S. Import Tariffs – What You Need to Know
What’s Changed
As of 29th August 2025, the U.S. government has removed the $800 ‘de minimis’ exemption on imports.
This means that all international shipments, regardless of value or country of origin, are now subject to import duties, taxes, and courier handling fees upon arrival in the U.S.
We value our U.S. customers greatly and want to be as transparent as possible. The shipping charge you see at checkout covers the cost of sending the parcel from us here in the UK to you in the US.
Any import duties, tariffs, or customs fees are set and collected by U.S. Customs when the parcel arrives in America, and these would be your responsibility to pay directly to them. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over those charges, and they are not included in the shipping cost.
What This Means for You
- Every U.S. order is now assessed for duties and taxes, regardless of order value.
- Couriers (UPS, DHL) calculate duties based on item value and category.
- Couriers may also add admin/handling fees on top of the government duties.
- Even low-value items such as patches and badges may now face disproportionate fees.
- Orders may be held or delayed until the applicable fees are paid.
Tips to Reduce the Impact
- View our Bundle products to reduce per-unit cost and improve customs value ratio.
- Look for multi-pack listings to reduce the per-item cost.
