Original Carlisle Model First Aid Packet - Imperfect
Original WW2 US Army Govt. Issue Carlisle Model First Aid Packets.
Please note these are in imperfect condition and have show paint chips and dents but are unopened.
These first aid tins are painted olive drab and sealed with a pull tape. Each tin contains one wound dressing. The writing on the tin reads:
First Aid Packet, U.S Gov't - Carlisle Model - To open: Pull tape - Red color indicates back of dressing - Put other side next to wound - Bauer & Black - Div. of the Kendall Co. - Chicago
These tins are the 1940 to 1941 issue without the sulfanilamide shaker envelopes. One tin would be kept inside the first aid pouch on the pistol belt, and sometimes an additional tin was carried in a pocket.
We received these first aid tins sealed in original, unopened boxes of 10.
We have opened one tin as an example. All tins for sale have never been opened.
