M40 German Heer Helmet - Field Grey - 54/55cm
This reproduction WW2 German Army helmet includes the eagle and flag decals over a field grey finish. With a couple of minor scratches but no further damage or issues, this helmet is a perfect choice for a reenactor or anyone who expects to add a few more bumps and scrapes after purchasing.
A wartime variation on the M35 Helmet issued to German forces, maintaining the iconic look and function while simplifying the production process. Replacing the riveted air vent with a simple stamped ring reduced material cost and labour time, however the rolled edge was kept until the introduction of the M42.
These brilliant reproductions are made from a tough steel, 1.6mm like the originals, and have the correct shade of the field grey for Heer forces. They also come with a quality leather liner, with a leather drawstring and chin strap already attached.
