WW2 German Brass Infantry Assault Badge - Stamped
This Army Assault Badge in Bronze was awarded to servicemen of the German Infantry for participation in three separate combat engagements. Although originally only in silver, the bronze version was introduced in 1940 to be awarded to armoured assault troops.
This excellent copy is the hollow-backed version, made from die-stamped brass. This high-quality model was typically issue or private purchased, and has the correct needle pin fitting on the reverse.
