The Excellent Scout Badge was awarded to Scouts who showed excellence in combat. The badge depicts the hammer and sickle in the centre, with the text 'отпичный разведчик', translating to 'Excellent Scout'. It also features a rifle crossed with a sword, and a pair of Binoculars for distinction.
The Badge comes with a screw back for fitting, and measures approximately 4.1cm by 3.8cm with the screw pin on the reverse measuring approximately 2.2cm.
