Original WW2 US Made M41 Aiming Post Light.
Shortly after WW2, these US made, Aiming Post Lights were acquired by the Danish Army and the boxes come labelled as such.
If you're looking to add something a bit different to your collection, we have just the thing. These Original WW2 US M41 Aiming Posts were designed for 61mm and 81mm mortars and intended to provide light on the sights of the mortar itself. It was normally supplemented with another type that was to be placed on some reference point on the terrain (type M-4, M-6, M-7, M-8, M-9 or M-10).
Measuring approximately 23x16x5cm with the hood attached these have been issued and show signs of use, which only adds to the character of the piece! They're perfect for filling out your US collection.
