The 89th Infantry Division, famously known as the “Rolling W”, served with distinction through both World Wars and remained active until 1973. First constituted in 1917, the division was deployed in 1917, the division was deployed to France during the final year of WW1 and later reactivated for WW2, where it played a pivotal role in the Allied advance across Europe.

This original patch measures approximately 5.5cm in diameter and is embroidered with a subdued colour scheme suitable for field use. The reverse displays classic khaki threading, consistent with mid-20th century US Army insignia.
