Original US 38th Infantry Patch
Established in 1917, this division was active during WWI and WWII. The post-war actions of this division include organising relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina, and since 2013 have been responsible for the domestic all-hazards response team (DART) missions.
The insignia for this division is in the shape of a shield, with a green outline. The left half is blue and the right half is red, with the letters 'CY' in the centre, representing the division's nickname - Cyclone. The badge measures approximately 6cm at the widest point, and approximately 7cm at the highest.
