Original Romanian Army M73 Helmet
Genuine Soviet-era Romanian surplus steel helmets. Following the iconic sloping egg shape of the M38, these Cold War helmets use a leather liner with adjustment via the cord at the top and the rear buckled strap. Cinch down the 4 point chin leather chin strap with the double D-ring to secure it in place. When not in use, hang it from your belt with the slot at the back edge.
One size fits most, measuring approximately 56cm without any adjustment of the liner.
As can be expected of Cold War surplus, these helmets do show signs of wear and tear from storage and light, some stiffening of the leather or scuffs to the exterior. Overall however these are in excellent condition, an excellent addition to any helmet collection!

Yes, they can. They are based on pre-WW2 models, but can be used for WW2 re-enactment.Answered by Admin on 22 Aug 2023
