Belgian M97 Jigsaw Camo Rucksack

Genuine Belgian Army surplus rucksacks in like new or unissued condition. With a capacity of around 140L, these sturdy rucksacks are ready for any challenge you can throw at them. If the iconic Belgian Jigsaw Camouflage pattern wasn't enough, the super durable 1000D Cordura style construction with matching camouflage webbing, chunky zips and reinforced buckles create a nearly bomb-proof system.

Padded shoulder and waist straps are adjustable for height along the two metal struts which keep the ruck rigid and upright, then kept close with the chest and waist straps, both quick release and easy to adjust. Need to drop your pack quickly? Flip out the left side of the waist buckle, pull away the popper on the left shoulder strap and it is ready to drop away. 

On either side the detachable Rocket or Side pouches are secured by two zips, making them easy to remove to slim down your main pack. With 1 large compartment and 1 pouch split into 2 with a divider, these can be left at camp as needed or add some 25mm webbing straps to make a simple daypack. Zip them together to make a large pack or keep them organised.

On the top flap you will find a zippered admin pouch which stores the adaptor plate, attaching to the same double zip mounts as the side pouches and allowing even more mounting options for extra gear and kit. 2 stitched in quick release equipment straps let you attach extra gear on the very top of the pack, usually placing it behind or over your head when being worn. Below the lid another pocket offers a little more protection for smaller, sensitive items, nicely hidden behind the elastic hem which snugly sits around the lip of the ruck. 

A classic snow skirt with two cinch cords keeps everything from spilling out while you rummage around inside, adding some extra protection from wet weather while closed. Another cinchable skirt at the base of the main compartment creates a separate section, accessible through the zip on the front and commonly used for sleep gear or wet kit. Alternatively just loosen it and make use of the huge capacity of the packs main body. Attach more kit to the front or bottom of the ruck with the quick release straps, which will also keep the top flap closed and compress the ruck somewhat.
