Czech Army M70 Anti-Chemical Suit - Imperfect

These impressive sets are surplus Chemical Suits of the Czech Army. They were introduced in 1970, with most of our stock made in the 70s. The suits were a result of increasing tensions during the Cold War, leading to the fear of an NBC (Nuclear Biological Chemical) attack. These suits are a massive one piece bit of kit, and were not designed for comfort. They are tricky to get on, owing to the fact that there is a small opening at the stomach for getting on and off. This was to increase reliability of the suit, keeping the suit as air, radiation and chemical tight as possible. They also have integrated rubber soles as footwear.

The set doesn't just contain the suit though, with a mixture of undergarments and gloves as well. Contents may vary, but each set includes a its original carry bag, with all of them packed full!

These have been in storage for a very long time, so please do not expect brand new condition. They are all Army standard, and fantastic pieces of history. There will be some variation, with different combinations in each bag. Every bag does include a suit though, and are all brimming full of history! They come in 3 sizes, and our 6ft+ mannequin is wearing a 2 (Medium) in the picture.

Grade 1 - Unissued but comes small holes, a button missing or blemishes on the bag. Sizes may vary

Grade 2 - Unissued but there are more noticable holes or blemishes on the bag. Sizes may vary

Grade 3 - Unissued but large holes in the bag and despite the chemical suit being in good, usable condition, there may also be parts of the kit missing (woollen gloves etc.) due to bag damage. If just the suit is required, this would be the best option to buy. Sizes may vary
