BAR leather sling
American Reproduction WW2 leather sling for the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR gun).
The BAR was designed to be carried by an infantryman and advance while supported by a sling over the shoulder, or to be fired from the hip. This walking fire doctrine was deemed necessary for the individual soldier in trench warfare.
Leather sling with all metalwork brass as per originals.
The two pieces of the sling are 27" and 50" respectively (66 cm and 125 cm)
