US Army Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal
US Army Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
The US Army Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal was created in 1961 by the Executive Order of President John Kennedy. The medal may be awarded for U.S.military operations, in direct support of the United Nations, in assistance of friendly foreign nations or as a result of independent American military operations.
The medal face shows an eagle standing on a sword loosened in its scabbard. The inscription features a laurel on each side. On the back of the medal is the United States Coat of Arms above two laurel branches. The medal comes with a ribbon bar and in a blue cardboard box.
We believe these medals to be unissued originals.
