Original Russian M40 Helmet
Original surplus Russian M40 helmet.
The M40 helmet was originally issued to the Red Army in 1942. Made from steel, it featured a simplified and more sturdy liner than its predecessors. The M40 became one of the most commonly used helmets of WW2.
Our stock are original M40 helmets, although we are unsure as to the exact date of origin. Due to their surplus nature, they have a strong odour from storage. However, they make great items for WW2 Russian enthusiasts and re-enactors.
