Order of the Great Patriotic War Pin Badge

These pin badges feature the design of the Order of the Great Patriotic War which was awarded during WW2. The gold backing of the award would denote first class, with second classes backed in silver. They were awarded for acts of bravery during World War 2 by soldiers in combat.
The badge itself features the hammer and sickle at the centre of a red star. This sits upon a gold backing featuring a crossed sabre and rifle. They are smaller than the original awards, due to their design as a pin badge, and have a clutch pin on the back for wearing. They are ideal for collectors of Russian badges.
