Superb authentic reproduction field grey wool greatcoat. - 48" Chest
The M40 Greatcoat was the standard issue winter uniform of the Wehrmacht during the early stages of the Second World War. Following the invasion of the Soviet Union the Greatcoat was found to be insufficient for the Russian winter and they were replaced by more effective clothing.
These coats are made in Germany from original patterns. The material is correct as well as the colour. With a field grey collar and correct buttons, these coats are the nearest to original greatcoats and the best you can get.
Material Composition:
Upper: 70% Wool, 30% Viscose
Lining: 100% Cotton
