A beautifully recreated, small, numbered NSDAP pin badge. The "Golden Party" badge was the basic Nazi Party badge, with the addition of a gold wreath completely encircling the badge.
These NSDAP Golden Party Badges were awarded on 30th January 1939. As the highest decoration of the party they were given to notable political and military figures in recognition of service at Hitler's discretion. This is the small and numbered version of the Golden Party Badge of the N.S.D.A.P. These were worn on civilian dress via a brooch pin fitting. These badges feature the enamelled swastika design at the centre mounted on a gilt wreath.
