German Paratrooper Side Lace Boots
Quality reproduction WW2 German Paratrooper boots.
German paratroopers, or Fallschirmjager, were issued with perhaps the most bespoke equipment in the German military. The ‘Jack Boot’, standard issue amongst other infantry units, was not suitable for Fallschirmjager troops as they did not provide enough ankle support during rough parachute landings. From 1937 to mid 1941 these side-lacing boots were standard issue, before being replaced with more conventional front lacing boots in late 1941.
They are made from great quality black leather with a pebbled effect. These boots also come with authentic leather laces for the true Fallschirmajager reenactor!
