High quality reproduction Fallschirmjager cuff title as worn by officers of the German Luftwaffe during WW2.
The 2nd Fallschirmjäger Regiment was formed in 1938, as part of the 1st Fallschirmjäger Division. These elite paratroopers would perform daring airborne assaults in the Netherlands and Belgium. Later invading Crete in what was the largest paratrooper operation in history. Heavy casualties lead German commanders to not use paratroops in large numbers for the rest of the war. Instead acting as elite infantry units.
