British Wire Cutters with Pouch
Original Post War British Wire Cutters, with a 37 Pattern Webbing Pouch.
These long, folding leg Wire Cutters have been issued, and are ideal for WW2 British reenactors and collectors. They are made from a heavy metal, and were carried by most British Infantrymen for use on barbed wire during WW2. The design was largely unchanged from WW1, where they had been used extensively in trench warfare. They are painted black and when closed measure approximately 10.5 inches long, with the extension arms in full working order.
These are postwar issue, but very similar to their WW2 counterparts.
These Wire Cutters also come with a P37 Tool Pouch, as would have been used during WW2 for carrying them.
