Introduced as a result of a criteria revision of the original British Army Accumulated Campaign Service Medal, the Post 2011 medal is awarded by the UK and Commonwealth for those who have completed 720 days campaign service from 1st January 2008 onwards.

The front of the medal features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, with the reverse design showing a ribbon with "FOR ACCUMULATED CAMPAIGN SERVICE" s surrounded by a oak leaves, with laurel and olive leaves woven through the ribbon. It is supported by the purple and green ribbon with two gold stripes running down the centre (this differs to the original medal ribbon, which features one gold stripe).
