1957 WW2 Order of the German Cross - Silver. This medal was reintroduced in 1957 with the Iron Cross replacing the Swastika. The medals were awarded to veterans who had earned the award during WW2. The medal was awarded for distinguished acts of service during WWII.
The original award was established in 1941, before being reintroduced in 1957 with a 'De-Nazified' design.
These are excellent replicas of the hard-to-find order, and the reverse features a flat pin for fitting.
