WW2 US Garand Belt
The M1 Garand is a .30 caliber semi-automatic rifle that was the U.S. service rifle during World War II, but also saw some service during Vietnam. The Garand is still used by drill teams and military honor guards and is widely used by civilians for hunting.
The M1923 Garand Belt retained most of the features of the late WWI era M1910 belts and added an easier to use buckle and improved size adjustment mechanism.
This is the standard 10-pocket cartridge belt worn by US troops in WW2 to carry ammunition for the M1 Garand and M1903 Springfield Rifles. Each ammo pocket can keep two 5 round clips of .30-caliber ammunition for the M-1903 Springfield, M-1917 Enfield, or one 8 round clip for the M1 Garand rifle (total 80 rounds). This authentic reproduction M1923 Garand cartridge belt has brass metalwork as per the originals. The belts are made from heavy canvas web material in a green khaki colour and come stamped with the US logo marked on the front pocket.
The pocket flaps are secured with typical US style World War 2 lift-the-dot fasteners. Belts are adjustable for different waist sizes, and each belt has metal eyelets for attaching standard US Field webbing and kit.
This WW2 Garand Belt is a must have for reenactors or Garand wielding hunters alike.
