Excellent Reproductions of the Leather Action cover designed for the German Mauser Gewehr 98 Rifle during World War 1. These brown leather covers feature an adjustable strap that wraps around the cover keeping a secure fitting around the rifle, as well as a small hole on the right hand side for the bolt handle to fit through.
These action covers were designed to protect the weapons from becoming jammed up with dirt when the rifle was not in immediate use. The Action covers were also commonly used with the k98 model in WW2.
