Excellent Reproduction German WW1 Gas Masks.
These gas masks are based on the early style masks used by the German Army during WW1. They are made from a grey suede material, with clear plastic eye pieces with a metal reinforcements on the inside and a metal filter. These reproduction gas masks have an empty filter and feature elasticated straps as well as an additional string to tighten or loosen the gas mask, allowing for comfortable fitting.
They also go great with our WW1 Gas Mask Canisters (sold seperately below this listing).

This early style reproduction gas mask includes an integrated empty metal filter. You may also see images of original masks with a clip-on additional filter, which is not included. This clip-on filter was a temporary measure added around 2018 to counter smoke / arsenic attacks, enabling existing stocks of filters to continue to be used. New models of filter entered production around the same time which did not require the extra clip on element. Our product development team is looking into whether we can also produce the clip-on additional filter - watch this space!Answered by Admin on 07 Dec 2022
