M1923 Garand Cartridge Belt

Authentic reproduction M1923 Garand cartridge belt. All metalwork is brass as per originals. The belts are made from heavy canvas web material in a green khaki colour, with the US logo marked on the front pocket.

This is the standard 10-pocket cartridge belt worn by US troops in WW2 to carry ammounition for the for the M1 Garand and M1903 Springfield Rifles. Each ammo pockets can keep two 5 round clips of .30-caliber ammunition for the M-1903 Springfield, M-1917 Enfield, or one 8 round clip for the M1 Garand rifle (total 80 rounds).

The pocket flaps are secured with typical US style World War 2 lift-the-dot fasteners. Belts are adjustable for different waist sizes, and each belt has metal eyelets for attaching standard US Field webbing and kit.
