Spreading the word about Axis Re-enactment, with the 116 Panzer Division �Der Windhund� - If you were to have watched TV recently, you might be forgiven for thinking that re-enactors are a danger, a menace to society, or a bunch of misguided extremists. Nothing of course could be further from the truth, as shown by the display of the 116 Panzer Division 'Der Windhund' at the recent 1940s show held at Rougham. Being the only group there re-enacting German, the �Windhund� managed to confound public preconceptions. Far from being pariahs they found themselves very much the centre of attention! After some confusion on the Saturday surrounding the Black Panzer Uniform and to allay any misunderstanding the group adapted their approach and on the Sunday the 116 impressed the public with a display of the many different uniforms a member of a Panzer Division may have worn during the period 1944�45. The group re-enacts Panzergrenadiers (Motorised infantry) of 116 Panzer, and form a machine gun squad: although recently with the group growing they have managed to diversify, and can now boast vehicles, flak guns and more. GERMAN MILITARY RINGS We have now added a range of reproduction WWII German Military rings to our website, some of which are shown below. Our rings are made from solid Sterling silver by UK jeweller who is also an avid German Fallschirmjager re-enactor so you can be assured of the quality and authenticity of the rings we sell. AMERICAN KIT We have a wide range of WWII American uniforms and equipment, below are some recent WW2 American reproduction items we have added to our website.
	US M3 Fighting Knife and M6 sheath Great quality reproduction steel M3 Paratrooper Knife and M6 Leather sheath. This repro M3 Fighting knife, often referred to as the M-3 Trench Knife, has a steel blade with a handle made from stacked leather washers with 8 grooves, the blade is engraved with US M3 1943. The M3 knife comes complete with a superb M6 brown leather sheath often worn by US troops around the lower leg.
	American Army Water Bottle and Cover Authentic reproduction of the US Army water bottle and cover. The water bottle is made from aluminium and comes complete with a cu p with folding handle. They cover is made from khaki coloured canvas with the US logo.
	American Deactivated Hand Grenade This is an inert American Army WW2 type Pineapple grenade. These grenades would have originally been equipped with M10A3 fuses but have been replaced with M228 fuses with blue levers. This grenade was used by the American military in WWII, and subsequently in 50's and 60's. These grenades are inert, fuses removed and have been drilled through and cannot be reactivated, they make great paper weights, display items (can be painted), or used for historical re-enactment purposes to add to your kit.

	American Paratrooper Leather Boots Brand new reproduction American Corcoran jump boots as worn by US Paratroopers in WW2, including from famous divisions like the 82nd Airborne, 101st Screaming Eagles featured in the Band of Brothers series. These boots were worn by US paratroopers and Rangers in World War 2, including D-Day jumps. They are made from quality brown leather, with stitched rubber soles. 	Waffen Enlisted Man Arm Eagle Grey thread on black wool, our most popular tunic eagle.
	German Officer Grey Jodphurs Never had a compliant about these, probably sell as many to horse riders as we do to reenactors. They are brand new, un-issued post war German Officer Jodhpurs but cut almost the same as a wartime officer's Jodhpurs of the German Army or Waffen SS. They are superbly made garments made from Trikot (same as wartime officer Jodhpurs). The colour is the correct grey.

ORIGINAL MILITARIA We were recently asked to sell some original uniforms that belonged to a married couple who served in India during and after World War Two. They were a Doctor serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps, photo below taken 1940ish and his future wife another Doctor who served in the Indian Army Medical Corps, photo below taken Spring 1946. The uniforms are in first class condition, and have a nice history to go with them, an interesting piece of history, click here to have a look.
