Worn by members of the Sanitätsdienst des Heeres, the Army Medical Service. The patch depicts the Rod of Asclepius, an ancient Greek symbol which is associated with medicine and health care.
Yellow thread snake on a dark green backing, to be worn on the arm.
The patch is approximately 6 cm in diameter.
