German Fallschirmjager Helmet - Custom

These helmets are impressive reproductions of the German M38, available with a whole host of different options and customisations.

Use the drop-down boxes to put together a unique helmet to suit your impression. With every Helmet made to order, you know you will be getting a one-off, unique helmet. This obviously means your helmet will vary slightly from pictures of previously made helmets. 

Each Helmet is made to order by our in-house Specialist, with care taken at every stage to ensure the highest standard. Before spraying the helmets, we sand and prime them to ensure the paintwork is top notch. We also use a clear coat varnish at the end to give it the best finish possible.

As the Helmets are made to order, please allow 20 - 30 business days for your customisation to be completed.

Customisation details

Decals - Please note the "Single Decal Application" or "Double Decal Application" options. In 1940, for camouflage purposes, an order came from High Command to discontinue the use of the Red, White and Black "National Colours Shield" on the helmets.

From 1939 to March 1940 (June 1940 for Luftwaffe and August 1940 for SS): helmets will have had two decals applied when manufactured.

From March 1940 to 1943: helmets had one decal applied when manufactured*

From August 1943: helmets had zero decals applied*

*exceptions exist. E.G. German Police continued to use two decals throughout WW2

Decal prices include the cost of the application. If single decal application is selected, you will also receive the National Colours Shield, separately in your package.

Humbrol DecalFix is used to secure their spot on the helmet.

Paint - These helmets have a standard colour of the late-war standard grey. You can keep your helmet in this colour or choose from the range of colour customisations. All of the paintwork is completed using our range of Spray Paints.  If there is a paint colour or design you would like to see added, email us and we will see what we can do. 

Aging - New (Un-aged) means we will not age it in any way. It will be sprayed up and varnished and then kept in a condition to be expected going into service for the first time.

The 'Lightly-Aged' option will be given scratches and a few dents, giving the impression of some campaign service and light battle damage.

The 'Heavily Aged' will be given the appearance of significant campaign use and battle damage. It will look like it has seen heavy combat and use, including alot of scratches, scrapes and dents. The paint will be sparse in many places, and the cold, hard steel will be visible occasionally.

Texturing Service - Applied to the helmet surface, this service provides an effective and authentic looking textured finish as was commonly seen in the field.
