Tunic Eagle as worn by German Panzer Heer soldiers in WW2.

Embroidered breast eagle, as worn on the tunic of soldiers of the Army Panzer divisions. The eagle is a variation of the Reichsadler (Imperial Eagle), a symbol of Germany that dates back to the Holy Roman Empire, clutching the Hakenkreuz (Swastika) of the Nazi Party.

The eagle is grey thread on a black backing.
